With generous support from the Farley Family Foundation, SUSD Science Instructors and HonorHealth Research and Innovation Institute clinicians participate in a 3 day event at HonorHealth in Scottsdale, Arizona to learn about the latest in medical advancements, genomics and clinical trials.

Science instructors get hands-on exposure to personalized medicine applications, and  the latest cancer and neuroscience treatments and lab practicum. The teachers then bring these concepts back to the classroom for engaging student lessons with real world impact.

“We are excited to teach our SUSD students and faculty what is happening in the every evolving study of medicine and spark the interests of the next generation of students interested in science and medicine as a career choice.”
