We work to raise funds year after year that support brilliant education opportunities that would otherwise go unfunded, as well as elevate Scottsdale Unified School District educators’ ability to make a difference by furthering their education and creating hands-on learning experiences.
Our Mission
The mission of the Scottsdale Unified School District Foundation is to help all students within the Scottsdale Unified School District achieve educational excellence.
Our GOALS
The Foundation fosters this mission by supporting programs that enhance the learning experience of our children and bringing community awareness to the significant financial challenges within our schools.
AREA of FOCUS
As a Foundation Board, we intentionally make certain our funding efforts are diverse and look to all areas of focus, including a K-12, multi-disciplinary, special needs approach. Each and every SUSD student is supported and experiences educational excellence.
Our History
Since 2006 the SUSD Foundation has funded many SUSD programs and grants, such as the Quest for Excellence Mini-Grants, National Board Certification for Teachers, All-City Athletic Awards Banquets, Camp Invention and others, equaling a total of more than $1,000,000 awarded to Scottsdale Unified School District to date.
We are currently focused on supporting larger districtwide initiatives such as the bioscience initiative with Honor Health and the entrepreneurship initiative with the Innovation Center.
