SUSD Foundation Supports the
Launch of the Innovation Center

Students of Scottsdale Unified School District’s Saguaro High School and the Scottsdale Math and Science Academy (SMSA) are now able to explore today’s and tomorrow’s technology careers in a new, hands-on space designed to accommodate a variety of programs, classes, interests and clubs.

STEAM Workspace

The creative space that blends design, engineering, math, technology and creativity is a first-of-its-kind collaborative workspace for District students. The space is outfitted with rolling tables, magnetic idea boards, 3D printers, computers, mobile workbenches, machine shop equipment and classroom furniture.

A Multi-functional Facility

The 5,000 square-foot facility, located on the Saguaro High School campus, houses SUSD’s Math and Science Academy; Saguaro’s championship robotics team; the Sisters in STEM program; Saguaro’s engineering classes; Career and Technical Education (CTE) students; and much more.

Ribbon-cutting Ceremony

The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on November 12, 2020 and was attended by Governing Board members, district leadership, and Saguaro staff and students.
